ARROWSMITIH, postoflice in Grant County. The place was named in February, 1908, "Mitchell" by Jackson Robinson to honor his mother's maiden name. Since then another postoflice was granted for the same vicinity and was named for George Arrowsmith. (F. C. Koppen, in Names MSS., Letter 110.)
