Mabel Lake Post Office was opened 1 January 1904, William George Procter postmaster, situated in NW 1/4 Sec 8 Tp 43. Relocated to SW 1/4 Sec 30 Tp 44 sometime before January 1955. Post Office closed 31 January 1956.
