Red Rock (Post Office) adopted 9 May 1963 on 93G at 53 40 -123 41. Application altered (closer to railway station) 18 September 1967 on 93G. Form of name changed to Red Rock (Station) in 1977 Supplement to the 1966 Gazetteer. Further changed to Red Rock (Community) 15 April 1983 on 93G/10.
