Billings (Station) adopted 6 October 1955 on 82 E, as labelled on BC map 1EM, 1915. Not identified in timetables 1967 onwards. Name rescinded 11 March 1971 on 82 E/SE. Reinstated as Billings (Locality) 11 March 1985 on 82 E/1 upon receiving advice from Regional District that 20+ people live here. Origin/signficance of name not cited.
