Bickle (Post Office) adopted in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, as labelled on BC map 3B, 1920. Located at 53 59 - 126 04. Name changed to Tatalrose (Post Office) 13 March 1947 on 93/SW; further changed to Tatalrose (locality) 8 December 1979 on 93E/16. Altered application 15 March 1983 on 93F/13 - the population is now centred on the NE side of the lake, rather than around the old PO location.

Post Office opened 15 July 1914, named after F. Bickle, the first postmaster. Re-named Tatalrose Post Office 1 November 1935; closed 21 November 1969.
