Cariboo (locality) adopted 5 October 1960 on 93G/8E, not "Cariboo Landing" as labelled on BC map 3A, 1915 et seq. Form of name subsequently changed to Cariboo (former locality) as labelled on 93G/8E.
BC Forest Service reported in 1959 that there is very little, if any, river traffic so this landing is not used.
