Fellers Heights (Post Office) adopted 5 May 1949 on 93P/NE. Form of name changed to Fellers Heights (settlement) 27 June 1967, as listed in the 1966 BC Gazetteer. Form of name changed to Fellers Heights (Locality) 15 February 1983 on 93P/10.
"Springhill" may have been submitted with application for a post office, and turned down by the Post Office Dept. due to potential duplication with another facility in Canada. Fellers Heights Post Office was opened 1 June 1931, postmistress Mrs. Ada I. Feller. Named after Postmistress' family. The 1930 BC Directory lists Ada I, Albert C, Albert, Allan A, Frank, George, Julian H, and Julius B Feller. The latter owned the general store and was assistant postmaster; all the others were listed as farmers. Post Office was closed 2 October 1956; at the time of closed, the post office was situated on NW 1/4 Sec 21, Tp 19, W6M.
