Blowhole (Locality) adopted 31 January 1981 on 92E/15, as identified on Nootka Sound Service timetables as a landing for Uchuck III. Form of name changed to Blowhole (Landing) 19 January 1998 on 92E/15, upon receiving confirmation from Hydrographic Service and Village of Tahsis staff that there are no longer any residents here - only dock facilities remain (file Z.1.46)
