"ferns on the beach" The Ch'imataqsolth and the Huu-ay-aht would get together at times. They had between them one river and that was Sarita River (Anaqshilth). They would also at times move there, halfway up the river, to a place called Chitlthmaqis - ferns on the beach. (Huu-ay-aht Place Names in the Chief Louie Nookemus historial accounts, c1964, shared September 2009 in the context of the Maa-nulth Treaty.)
